THE MIRACLE OF LIFE

     Here are some excerpts from a book, entitled "THE MIRACLE OF LIFE - Stem Cells" that DR Z is writing about Stem Cells which will be able in the next few months. 

Introduction ....................................
     And God said, “Let there be life… for it is the greatest of all treasures to be cherished from the beginning of all time without end”.
     And God said, “Let there be life… for life holds the secret to explore, attract, and savor all the splendor and magnificence extending throughout this Universe and the vast galaxies I have created reaching far beyond the scope of all imagination”.
     And God said, “Here is your Miracle of Life. One cell = 2 = 4 = 8 = 100 Trillion = You".

     And God said, "I now give this priceless gift to you with the freedom and my blessing to honor and do with as you choose". 

     And so it was that one woman, one man, one sperm, one egg came together and your miracle of life began.
     So let me tell you this most exciting  story.

Chapter 1 ............................................

     Once upon a time, a sperm sought out an egg.  A union was created that would initiate one of the most unique miracles of the Universe … you!

     That union became a single cell.  That cell came to be called a zycote by those first describing this process.   Another way to name that one cell might be to call it your very first stem cell.  That was the beginning of you.

     That first cell or stem cell began a process of duplication almost immediately as your miracle of life took flight.   One cell became 2 and two became 4 and four became  8 and so on up to about 150 to 200 cells (defined simply as embryonic stem cells).   Those cells began to become defined cells of specialized function like liver cells, heart cells, skin cells, nerve cells, intestinal cells, and more.   They continued to mature and duplicate to form all of your basic cells, tissues, and organs in your body.  

     Those cells became you, your miracle of life…. all 100 trillion of them.  

     And so it was that the story of your Miracle of Life began!
